An injection in the face is a medical procedure. That is why every treatment starts with a thorough conversation in which we understand your concern and look at your health.

  • Your concern and your expectations: what bothers you and what you would like.
  • Your health: pre-existing conditions, medicines such as blood thinners, allergies, and pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Previous treatments of the face, such as injections or procedures.
  • Possible alternatives, including the option of not having a treatment at all.
  • Risks and side effects, for example swelling, redness or bruising, and rare, more serious complications.
  • The expected costs, before you decide.

Two methods

Muscle relaxant and hyaluronic acid: two different principles

Muscle relaxant

A prescription medicine that temporarily inhibits the transmission of signals from a nerve to a muscle. The effect wears off by itself after a few months. Whether it is an option for you, and in what dose, is decided by the physician after the examination.

Hyaluronic acid filler

Hyaluronic acid also occurs naturally in the body and binds water. As a filler it is a medical device that is injected under the skin and broken down by the body over time. Which product and what amount make sense, we discuss in the consultation.

  3. Time to think: You decide calmly whether and when to have a treatment. The consultation does not commit you to anything.

Who carries out the treatment?

Consultation and treatment are carried out by a physician or a dentist from our team. You will find out who that is in your case when you book the appointment.

Does health insurance cover the costs?

Aesthetic treatments are generally not covered by statutory health insurance and are billed privately. We tell you the expected costs in the consultation, before you decide.

Are there reasons not to have a treatment?

Yes, for example pregnancy and breastfeeding, inflammation in the treatment area, or certain conditions and medicines. That is why we ask about your health in detail beforehand.

Can I just have a consultation first?

Yes. The consultation is an appointment of its own. Whether you have a treatment afterwards is your decision.
