A checkup with one of our specialists is a good way to discover what F80 has to offer. We can get to know one another, and you can learn more about our approach to dentistry.
During the examination, we assess your teeth, gums and existing restorations. During your appointment, we check: your jaw joints, any external swelling, the health of your gums, your teeth for decay, fractures or cracks, your existing restorations, your bite, and the colour and appearance of your teeth.
We also carry out an oral cancer screening. Whether digital X-rays are needed depends on the findings. On this basis, we discuss with you a treatment plan tailored to you personally.
Costs and reimbursement
Before the examination, we inform you about the services included and any costs you may have to pay yourself. Reimbursement depends on the terms of your insurance.
Technology used in the examination
Our specialists use a state-of-the-art 3D scanner as standard to create a comprehensive digital 3D image of your smile. On the touchscreen, we can view your teeth and gums from every angle, zoom in and rotate individual areas. This provides a more detailed picture for diagnosis and lets you see exactly what is happening in your mouth.
We can additionally analyse X-ray images with AI-assisted software. It supports our dentists in making their findings. The diagnosis is always made by the dentists themselves.
